Position Description
We are looking to add to both our sanding and milling departments! The milling department is responsible for the cutting of raw materials and the sanding position is responsible for the sanding of wood utilizing both large machine sanders and small handheld orbital sanders at the beginning of the manufacturing process.
1. Feeding/pushing wood materials through sanding/milling machinery.
2. In the sanding department you will be hand sanding with orbital sanders.
3. Cross training for other areas as needed.
4. Following all safety and quality standards.
5. Maintaining a clean workspace.
Requirements for the position:
1. Strong communication skills. Able to communicate with both immediate coworkers and cross departmentally.
2. Attention to detail and organized.
3. Able to work independently.
4. Able to follow work instructions.
5. Able to lift up to 50lbs independently.
6. Able to meet both quality and safety expectations.
